Sometimes during gaming (games start to lagg) sometimes during watching videos or even during music & also in IDLE.
By disappearing I mean that out of a sudden I get only 2gigs of ram instead of 4gb.

The problem can be fixed by opening the case removing both rams and re-installing them again.

I ran memtest+ for over 18 hours and did not get any errors.
I couldnt find any indicator for what happened in win event viewer.

What I tried so far to fix the problem:
- bios update
- virus checks + hijack this.......
- installed all win updates
- tried to check drives and such and ran win repair

Another problem is that my machine wont shut down completely sometimes ( 50% of shutdowns or energy saving modes go wrong). Windows shuts down the screen turns black and the machine is till running.

Now i know there is a lot of debate over the whole gaming on a laptop thing. But i am just graduating high school and i want to get back into gaming. I am headed to college next year thats why i think i might want the laptop and i also live at both of my parents house. so i would have to be taking the computer from one home to the next.

I downloaded a free "password reset" program that doesn't work because the system doesn't recognize the CD as a boot CD.

So your website got blocked? Well it's not completely hopeless there is a way to get there using a command prompt.

First you need to open one, normally you could do this by going to start>run>cmd
but most IT guys have blocked this. So get out the notepad, start>all programs> accessories>notepad.
In the notepad type in this

Save it as a .bat file and...oh, you don't know how to do that. Well then. Go to save as and in file type choose all files. Type in the name of the file followed by .bat. It will look like this, filename.bat
Now you have a nice command prompt.

Now your IT people will probably notice you fiddiling around so what you need to do is create an administrative account. To do so you first need to create an anonymous account. I'm going to use my name, Chris, as the user name so replace Chris with whatever username you would like. So type this in your command prompt,

Now you must move it to administrative status thusly

net localgroup Administrator /add Chris

Note: Depending on your computer it may be Administrator, Administrators, or Admin

Now to get at that website, you need to get the IP address so you can bypass the filters. You can get that IP by using this code

It will come back with a few lines of text, but what we are interested in is in the first line. What we want is in the brackets, [98.130.32.204](that is the actually IP for computer limbo by the way).Type this address into the URL bar of your browser preceded by http:// (it will look like "http://98.130.32.204").

Now when you are done with your account, say "Mischief Managed" as you type in this command

Having a problem with a notebook computer.
The system was booting and running up until yesterday when turning it on it displays the manufacturer logo screen displaying options to load the bios setup as usual, however after this the screen goes black with just the bios setup option displayed. I tried to load the BIOS setup but it would not load.

Can anyone help?
